Proper configuration for IIS and the Capture DVR

In the event that you can no longer access your DVR over an Internet connection using webguard but you can access using your BASE software you may want to check your IIS settings to make sure that the Web Server is configured properly. Below are some simple steps on how to confirm that your IIS settings are correct.

1. In the System Setup menu of Guard, Click Setup Web Server.
   
   
   
   
2. Choose Default Web Site, then go to the Properties menu by clicking the right mouse button.
   
   
   
   
3. In the tab of Home Directory, set Local Path as C:\inetpub\wwwroot.
   
   
   
   
4. Move to the Documents tab and check Enable Default document and remove everything.
   
   
   
   
5. Press the Add button and type index.html in the box and press OK.
   
   
   
   
6. Press OK.
